Walnut Grove Buddhist Sonenkai Golf Tournament Fundraiser

The Walnut Grove Buddhist Church Sonenkai (Men’s Club) is hosting its first golf tournament fundraiser to send Roy Mayhugh, the church’s minister’s assistant, to Kyoto, Japan for additional ministerial training and ordination.

The tournament will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6 at the upscale Yocha Dehe Golf Club at the Cache Creek Casino Resort. The golf course is one of the premiere golf courses in Northern California. The format is a 4-man best ball scramble with registration starting at 8 a.m.

“Your participation and support to make this a successful endeavor is greatly appreciated,” said tournament chairs Aki Ito and Ken Sano.

Entry fees start at $125 and sponsorship packages are available starting at $175. Hotel accommodations start at $160/night. To reserve a room, call the casino/hotel at (888) 772-2243.
